How to add an awesome Star Wars: Rogue One theme to your Android

Why not get your Android ready for the holiday season, with a theme inspired by what is sure to be the best movie in theatres right now, Star Wars: Rogue One. How to add the Darth Vader theme to your Android

Keep in mind that adding this sweet Darth Vader theme to your Android means downloading the following tools.

 

You also need a file explorer for moving KWGT files into the right folders. You also need to make sure that the launcher you’re using allows for third-party icon packs, replacing each individual icon, resizing widgets and an XxX home screen grid. These instructions are designed with the Nova Launcher in mind, but they can be adapted for other third party launchers.

  1. First up let’s change the wallpaper by long pressing the home screen until the Wallpapers option appears at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Then find the Darth Vader wallpaper you downloaded and select it.
  3. Make sure the image is properly centered and then tap Set wallpaper.
  4. Open Nova Settings.
  5. Then tap Look & Feel.
  6. Tap Icon Theme.
  7. Tap Whicons.
  8. Then return to your home screen and long press your app drawer icon.
  9. Tap edit.
  10. Then tap on the icon itself to edit it.
  11. Select Gallery apps.
  12. Then select Document/Files.
  13. Then find your Death Star icon and select it.
  14. Make sure that the icon fits inside the white border before pressing Done.
  15. Then press Done to confirm your changes.
  16. Then head back to your home screen.
  17. Long press the home screen and then tap the Widgets option at the bottom of the screen.
  18. Find 1Weather in the list that appears.
  19. Then tap and hold it so you can drag it into the appropriate position on your screen.
  20. In the configuration window that appears set the Background Color to Dark.
  21. Make sure Background Opacity is set to 0%.
  22. Set the accent to White.
  23. Return to your home screen.
  24. Once again long press your home screen until Widgets option appears and tap it.
  25. Find KWGT on the list and press and drag the KWGT 4×2 widget to the appropriate position on your homescreen.
  26. Tap on the widget to configure it.
  27. In the exported section select Vader Music Preset.
